What is the NFHS Network?
The NFHS Network is a subscription-based streaming service that allows fans to watch live and on-demand coverage of their school's events, including sports and other events and activities.

What is the School Broadcast Program?
The School Broadcast Program (SBP) enables high schools to produce and broadcast their games and activities live on the NFHS Network. We make broadcast production easy by providing the software, tools, equipment, and training you need for free. Fans can watch your events whenever they want, wherever they are.

What kind of events are covered with the NFHS Network?
The NFHS Network covers 27 different regular season and postseason sports, as well as other high school events including graduations, award ceremonies, news shows, pep rallies, guest speakers, and interviews.

What equipment is needed?
We've eliminated the need to staff anyone to film or even turn on the equipment to make it easier for you. Here's what's included:
Two Pixellot camera units: Weatherproof cameras in a single-mounted unit for capturing video
Scoring device: Plugs into scoreboard for automated score integration into the broadcast
Desktop computer: For production integration and video processing
If your school has a student-run school broadcast program, they can use your current equipment to start streaming to the NFHS Network.

Who provides the equipment? What is covered in the installation?
Hardware
NFHS Network will provide all hardware for the Pixellot system, including:
- Camera Head
- Computer
- Scoring Device (either Sportzcast or OCR Camera)
- P2P System (if necessary)
- Standard installation and mounting accessories
If School wants to use a different P2P system, School must pay for and install it.
Cabling
NFHS Network will provide and install all cabling for the Pixellot System and Score Device.
If School wants to use a different type of cable, it must be approved by NFHS Network and provided by School.
ConduitNFHS Network will provide and install up to 50' of cable protection anywhere cable is exposed (i.e. accessible to students).
The following areas are not considered exposed:
- Gym ceiling infrastructure
- Above drop ceilings
- School areas that are off-limits to the student body (i.e. press boxes, network closets, etc.)
If School wants to use a specific type of cable protection or have it installed in a non-exposed area, it must be approved by NFHS Network. School will be responsible for additional materials and labor costs.
NFHS Network will not paint cable or cable protection.
Lifts
If School does not have a lift that we can use, NFHS Network will provide a scissor lift (up to 26 ft).
If installation requires a different lift that exceeds $500, School must pay the difference in cost.
If School requests floor protection, School must provide it.
Miscellaneous
NFHS Network will not perform the following:
- Roof penetrations
- Run cable through plenum spaces
- Install a backboard for the Computer cabinet
- Install power outlets
- Install internet jacks
- Run cables from the Pixellot system to School's audio equipment (or any other equipment that is not part of the Pixellot system)

How do the cameras work?
The Pixellot patented technology automates production with a multi-angle, AI-powered camera that captures indoor and outdoor footage. Cameras will automatically switch on at set times for events. Auto-tracking software enables the camera to follow the flow of play and zoom in on the key action.

How long does it take to get started?
You can be up and running with the NFHS Network in just 2-3 weeks.

Are there exclusivity requirements?
No, there are no exclusivity requirements. You can stream your regular season events to the Network and wherever else you want.
Exclusive: Stream only to the NFHS Network
Schools receive double the revenue share on monthly subscription sales or 20% of the net revenue.
Non-Exclusive: Stream to the NFHS Network and other platforms
Schools may:
- Provide access to other local media partnerships
- Allow student-led groups to broadcast to other platforms
- Install non-Pixellot camera systems in venues

What if my school already has a broadcast program producing my school's events?
That's great! We don't want to compete or interfere with that.

Will this decrease in-person ticket sales?
No, the NFHS Network does not decrease ticket sales at the gate for your events. We found that 80%+ of NFHS Network viewers are 15-20+ miles outside of a participating school's radius. The NFHS Network is made for people to watch who can't be there in person.

What is the fee structure for subscribers?
Any active subscription gets viewer access to all content on our platform. Coaches and administration always watch for free. Watch from any smartphone, computer, or smart TV app.

Do middle schools qualify for free cameras?No. Middle schools can purchase cameras at $5,000 per unit.

Can the cameras be used for other purposes beyond athletics?
Yes! The Pixellot cameras can be used to livestream and record non-sporting events including graduation, concerts, practices, or even graduations, pep rallies, and ceremonies.

What is the importance of having my school represented on the NFHS Network?
By joining the NFHS Network, your school becomes part of the only national high school network available.
You'll have the opportunity to reach a larger fanbase and grow your community of supporters who can’t attend events in person. This enables your school to generate more revenue for your programs without sacrificing resources.
Another key advantage of having your school on the NFHS Network is that there are no rights fees to stream your playoff games. This means that you can broadcast your school's postseason events without incurring any additional costs.

Are there sponsorships ads available for sale?
Yes, there are up to three spots for advertising: two sponsor spots and one spot for your school logo or an additional ad if you prefer.

Is there a fee to stream playoff events?We are only able to waive playoff media rights in NFHS Network states.

How do fans know where to go to watch events?
NFHS Network games and events can be watched live and on demand across a variety of platforms. Fans can watch on their phone, computer, or tablet through the website or mobile app, as well as on TV with ROKU, Amazon Fire, and Apple apps.

Do my coaches or staff need to purchase a subscription?
No, coaches and administrative staff always watch for free.
